Haikus of 6/6

Dreams:

Deep rest brought me back
The colours of yesteryear,
Glaucoma be damned

SJW:

I put on my shirt
“SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIOR”
I broke my keyboard

Distension:

A girl walks past me
Butterflies in my stomach
Oh wait, distention

26/1 Midnight

Midnight. The clock strikes.
Tick, tick, tick. Tick, tick, tick.
The children sleep, parents’ delights.
Tick, tick, tick. Tick, tick, tick.

Midnight, the bell sounds.
Ring, ring, ring. Ring, ring, ring.
Women are comparing their pounds.
Ring, ring, ring. Ring, ring, ring.

Midnight, the wolf cries.
Howl, howl, howl. Howl, howl, howl.
The robber escapes, winks and lies.
Howl, howl, howl. Howl, howl, howl.

Midnight, the silence.
Hush, hush, hush. Hush, hush, hush.
Put an end to all the violence.
Hush, hush, hush. Hush, hush, hush.

5/9 Revival

I haven’t moved a single bit,
Since my passion has been relit.
Where did I go, where did I meet,
All these, replied in quick fast wit.

I never left, just standing by,
Seeing men rushing, like they fly.
Women sending their last goodbye,
But they don’t see me, they don’t try.
